“We met Sallee online while we were searching for properties in rural BC. We were living in Victoria and had recently retired and were looking to return to the rural lifestyle we had enjoyed years ago while living in Northwest BC. We had no experience purchasing or even shopping for properties and so this was new and somewhat forbidding territory for us. We were immediately impressed with Sallee because she was very interested in our plans and goals and tried to understand what our needs and hopes were. She made sure we were notified of every new property coming up for sale in her area. Her prompt and cheerful responses to our questions helped us refine our search and her knowledge of the area made us feel hopeful that we would find our dream retirement property in the South Cariboo. When were ready to travel to 100 Mile House to look at some properties Sallee was a marvelous host. She spent the whole day driving us around the area looking at various homes and properties. As we visited each home and property Sallee provided objective comments on each that were relevant to our goals. In one case, after touring a home, she just said, “this is not for you.” Her knowledge of the area and of local history made the long day very interesting and her ever warm and approachable personality helped the hours fly by. When we decided to make an offer on a property that we fell in love with, Sallee stepped up as our representative and coach, making sure we understood the process and that we added the necessary conditions to safeguard our offer. It was apparent that her first interest was in our happiness with our purchase and so she clarified all the points in the process where we could withdraw our bid. Sallee frequently checked in with us through the whole offer and purchase process to make sure we had all the information we needed to make the process as stress free as possible.
